San Diego Fly Miles Plus Reward Program FAQs

There is no annual fee the first year. San Diego County Credit Union® will waive the annual fee after the first year when your total annual purchases exceed $6,000. Otherwise, the low $35 annual fee is applied to your SDCCU® Visa® credit card on your Fly Miles Plus enrollment anniversary.

New enrollments may take up to thirty (30) days to be processed, but you will begin earning points the same day you are enrolled in Fly Miles Plus.

You earn one (1) point for each dollar of new purchases charged to your San Diego County Credit Union Visa credit card with Fly Miles Plus. Points are not earned on cash advances, promotional balance transfers, purchases of traveler’s checks, overdraft protection advances or convenience checks, unless otherwise specified. Points may take up to 45 days to be posted following a qualifying purchase.

You can earn a round trip airline ticket within the continental United States for as few as 19,000 points. You may travel on all major carriers (excluding charters). A $25 redemption fee (or 2,500 points) per ticket for air travel rewards will be charged at the time of booking. Yes. Travel rewards are available in various payment combinations. You can pay for airline tickets, hotels and car rentals using points, a combination of points and cash or just cash. The cash portion of all travel related reservations must be made using your SDCCU Visa credit card.

Your cash back reward will be deposited into your SDCCU savings account. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing.

No. To protect you and your account, all rewards must be shipped to the cardholder’s billing address.
